Transformative Powers of the Arts: Healing Self and Community

Through the Artists in the Schools program, the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) is partnering with Lahainaluna High School to explore the healing power of art. Throughout the 2026–27 school year, students will engage in hands-on ceramic art, creative reflection, and meaningful discussions that encourage self-expression, personal well-being, and community connection. Their individual creations will come together to reflect the power of art to inspire healing, understanding, and unity.

This project is supported through the Hawaiʻi State Foundation on Culture and the Arts' Artists in the Schools program.
