CANDO! DAYS

FOR STUDENTS

School Year:2024-2025

We are excited for our theme this year, Ahupuaʻa Aloha, an exploration into the traditional Hawaiian ahupua`a land system, our pilina/relationships as its stewards, and our kuleana/responsibilities to mālama and nurture our precious island home.

Through an art filled day, students will participate in lessons that combine Nā Hopena A‘o (Hā) learning outcomes with arts integration strategies, including visual arts, dance & movement, music, and dramatic arts.

We are so excited to welcome everyone from the mountains to the seas.

E kuahui like i ka hana, letʻs come together and create something beautiful.

CHANGES!

  • Due to the limited amount of CanDo! Days available, we are only offering CanDo! Days for Grades 2-5.

  • To accomidate the island-wide bus shortage, CanDo! Days will end at 12:35pm.

  • All attendees (students, teachers, chaperones, etc.) are required to submit a photo release consent form prior to beginning their scheduled CanDo! Day. Teachers/Administrators may upload all completed forms or notify education@mauiarts.org if you be bringing them on your scheduled CanDo! Day.
