Registration & Cancellation Policy
Registration closes two weeks prior to the first scheduled class. Payment must be received by the closing date to secure your spot. Unpaid registrations will be removed from the roster. Day-of payments are not accepted.
Maui Arts & Cultural Center may cancel a course due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If canceled, participants will be notified and will receive a full refund. Please confirm your course is moving forward before making non-refundable travel arrangements.
In the case of severe weather, MACC will make every effort to hold the course as scheduled. If MACC cancels, participants will be notified by email and may receive a refund. If the course proceeds as scheduled, refunds will not be issued.
All registrations are final. Cancellations and refunds are not offered once registration has been completed. In limited, pre-approved circumstances, a cancellation request may be reviewed. If a cancellation is approved, a fee may apply. Any approved refund will be subject to a 3.2% credit card processing fee, which will be deducted from the total refund amount.
Requests must be submitted in writing. Approval is not guaranteed.
CanDo! Days
CanDo! Days programs are offered free of charge to participating schools. Reservations are considered confirmed upon scheduling, and schools are responsible for providing accurate student and teacher counts.
Due to the level of planning, staffing, and resources required, including a minimum of four teaching artists per program, schools that cancel within 30 days of their scheduled program dates or do not participate as scheduled may be subject to a $300 no-show fee. This policy helps ensure that program slots are fully utilized and available to other schools.
If a school needs to make changes to their reservation, including adjustments to student or teacher counts, notification must be provided in advance. Maui Arts & Cultural Center will make every effort to accommodate updates based on availability.
In the event that a school is unable to participate, written notice must be submitted as soon as possible. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may impact future participation.
Maui Arts & Cultural Center reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a program due to unforeseen circumstances. Schools will be notified promptly of any changes.
Schools are expected to be prepared, on time, and to follow all program guidelines to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for all participants.
School Performance Attendance Policy
School performances are offered free of charge. Reservations are considered confirmed upon registration, and schools are responsible for providing accurate attendance counts.
Due to limited capacity and high demand, schools that cancel within two weeks of the scheduled performance date or do not attend as reserved may be subject to a $150 no-show fee. This policy helps ensure that reserved seats are utilized and available to other schools.
If a school needs to make changes to their reservation, including adjustments to student or chaperone counts, notification must be provided in advance. Maui Arts & Cultural Center will make every effort to accommodate updates based on availability.

Schools are expected to arrive on time and follow all venue guidelines to ensure a safe and positive experience for all participants.
Young Artmakers (Gallery)
All registrations are considered final. The Maui Arts & Cultural Center does not offer cancellations or refunds once a registration has been completed.
