Service Description
The MACC Summer Arts Institute (June 1 to 3, 2026) is a three day professional development experience designed for educators and teaching artists (Grades K to 6). Participants will engage in hands on workshops, collaborative lesson design, and reflective practices centered on arts integration and place based learning. The institute includes both on site sessions at MACC and an off site learning experience, offering opportunities to connect with Maui’s natural environment through observation and creative practice. Participants will leave with practical tools to support planning, facilitation, and assessment in their classrooms.

Cancellation Policy
Registration closes two weeks prior to the first scheduled class. Payment must be received by the closing date to secure your spot. Unpaid registrations will be removed from the roster. Day-of payments are not accepted. Maui Arts & Cultural Center may cancel a course due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If canceled, participants will be notified and will receive a full refund. Please confirm that your course is moving forward before making any non-refundable travel arrangements. In the case of severe weather, MACC will make every effort to hold the course as scheduled. If MACC cancels, participants will be notified by email and will receive a refund. If the course proceeds as scheduled, refunds will not be issued. All registrations are final and non-refundable. Exceptions may be made only in rare, pre-approved circumstances at the discretion of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Any approved refund may be subject to a processing fee, and applicable credit card processing fees (3.2%) will be deducted from the total refund amount.
